The EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF GRAPHIC PAPER PRODUCERS ASBL (hereafter “Euro-Graph” or “We”) is a non-profit association which has its registered offices at 1050 Brussels, Avenue Louise 250, with the Central Bank of Enterprises number 0476.557.733.

Euro-Graph is highly concerned with compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR” and the related data protection legislations. In that respect, it is fundamental for us to provide information about the processing of personal data we perform.

All data subjects (natural personal whose personal data are processed by Euro-Graph, hereinafter “Data Subjects” or “You”), including the User, acknowledge having read the information provided hereunder and being informed that Euro-Graph processes, as detailed hereunder, their personal data.

The present Privacy Policy governs the relationship between the Data Subjects and Euro-Graph and is an integral part of the Terms.

Euro-Graph reserves the right to modify the Privacy Policy at all times and without prior notification by posting an updated version on the Website. Therefore, Euro-Graph recommends to consult it regularly.

1. Which personal data does Euro-Graph process and why?

Euro-Graph may collect and process the following categories of personal data for several purposes to the extent necessary to function and to carry out its activities.

a. If You are a member of Euro-Graph’s Board of Directors, We may process your identification data (such as name, surname, address, phone number, national registration number, professional email address, date and place of birth and other information on the ID card), professional data (such as current activities) and security related data (such as login and password to the Members Only Area of our website) for the purpose of administration of the members of the Board of Directors.

This processing is based on our obligation under the Law of 27 June 1921 on non-profit associations, foundations and international non-profit associations and on our legitimate interest to ensure a good functioning of the association. In compliance with the law, we will communicate the necessary data to the Registry of the Commercial Court, through our counsel.

b. If You are part of a legal entity which is a member of Euro-Graph (such as a legal representative, an expert or any other contact), We may process your identification data (name, surname, address, phone number, national registration number, professional email address, date and place of birth and other information on the ID card), professional data (current activities) and security related data (login and password to the Members Only Area of our website) for the purposes of administration of the members of the association (i.e. to manage Euro-graph, the groups of experts and to provide our service or access to the Members Only Area of our website) or of sharing relevant information and providing technical assistance inside groups of expert.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest to ensure a good functioning of the association (freedom to conduct a business) and to share information (freedom of expression and information) and on our obligation under the Law of 27 June 1921 on non-profit associations, foundations and international non-profit associations. In compliance with the law, we will communicate the necessary data to the Registry of the Commercial Court, through our counsel.

c. If You are working for one of our clients, We may process your identification data (such as your name, surname, position, professional email address) and professional data (current activities) for the purpose of clients administration (client management, provision of our service,…) based on our legitimate interest to ensure a good functioning of the association (freedom to conduct a business) and to share information (freedom of expression and information).

d. If You are interest by the industry sectors of Europe’s newsprint, magazine, and fine paper grades and/or if you are contacting us for instance via the contact form on our website, We may process your identification data (such as your name, surname, position, professional email address) and professional data (current activities) and any information that you provided us with for the purposes of answering to your request and of creating, developing and maintaining public and professional relation with You.

Such processing is based on our legitimate interest to ensure a good functioning of the association (freedom to conduct a business) and to share information (freedom of expression and information).

e. If You are working for one of our suppliers, We may process your identification data (such as your name, surname, position, professional email address) and professional data (current activities) for the purpose of providers administration based on our legitimate interest to ensure a good functioning of the association (freedom to conduct a business).

f. If You are supporting the Print Power Europe initiative, subscribing to the newsletter, participating to surveys and/or are by any other means in relation with the Print Power initiative, please find the information about the processing of your data on the Print Power website : https://www.printpower.eu/disclaimer-privacy.

In principle, You provided us with the personal data that We process, either through a form, an email or during previous contacts.

We will not sell your data. We may communicate some of your data to our members or other partners (only identification data) upon request and other third party if We are required by law to do so. We may also provide your personal data to companies that provide services to help us with our business activities (our processors). These companies are authorized to use your personal data only as necessary to provide these services to us. Your data will not be transferred outside Europe.

However, Euro-Graph may not be held liable in case of misappropriation of these data by a third party despite of the security measures adopted.

In any case, your personal data are only processed as long as it is necessary for the above-mentioned purposes.

2. What are your rights as Data Subjects and how to exercise them?

In all the above mentioned cases and in compliance with the conditions set out in the GDPR, You may at any time:

        • obtain information on the processing We perform,
        • obtain the rectification of inaccurate data we may hold,
        • obtain the erasure of data,
        • obtain the restriction of the processing,
        • exercise your right to data portability,
        • object to processing of your personal data, on grounds relating to your particular situation.
